Rethugs substitute "Saddam" to call the President other names they use in private

I pointed to the local radio wingnut’s comparing the President to Saddam.

So Gawker informs today that a Rethug congresscritter on Greta last night was “reminded” of Saddam. So I forwarded the item to the local radio wingnut with this preface (did I lose the argument by calling him “Nazi”?) :

Speaking of Iraq – oh, WHO was speaking of Iraq?! – I remember how you, in the hysteria to the war of PREMEDITATED CHOICE (Shrub wanted to get into Iraq since he took power in the coup. And I thought wingnuts are anti-CHOICE), swallowed and barfed EVERY SINGLE “reason” (changing by the week) that the Shrub-CHEENEEs spun out to attempt to justify the CHOICE.

So there you were the day BEFORE any CONTENT was known about the gun safety proposals dealing the “Saddam” card, oh not CALLING? OBAMA “Saddam” just putting it out there and then saying what you meant is “demagogue.” Oh, the Fundamentalist preacher that yammers on twenty times per day on your radio station is NOT a demagogue, and neither are all your NRA and TeaBaggers, NOBODY wingnut is a demagogue.

So congrats on your being so connected in the wingnut propaganda butter churner that you can barf the latest crap THE DAY BEFORE your national jerks do. Gosh, PALIN’s best friend, Greta, even got NERVOUS and cut off your dude being REMINDED (not “CALLING”) OBAMA “Saddam.” I, also, can be REMINDED of things, like how cowards rushed to become Nazis.

Republicans are crawling out of the woodwork to attack President Obama's gun control package, announced today. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has accused Obama of abusing his executive powers. Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) accused the President of "disdain" for the Second Amendment. But the best criticism yet comes from Rep. Steve Stockman (R- (where else?) TX).

Yes, the Republican party — which has, in less than a month, declined aid to victims of Hurricane Sandy, put the interests of wealthy donors above those of their constituents and threatened to take the country's credit rating hostage — is accusing President Obama of not doing his job.

Stockman was a guest of professionally irresponsible journalist Greta Van Susteren last night, where he exclaimed that Obama should be impeached for his gun control package — the very same gun control package that had not even been announced at the time. It was not until the end of the five minute interview though that Stockman delivered his pièce de résistance: &quot Obama)'s even using children. It reminds me of Saddam Hussein when he used kids to..." He was nervously cut off by Lindsay Lohan's ex, Van Susteren. But here's how that sentence ends: human shields. An elected official of the United States went on television last night and compared the President's inviting four children to the White House to the former Iraqi dictator's use of children as human shields.

For some background, Stockman is a formerly-homeless born-again Christian. He once requested a federal investigation into the Kinsey Report (more than 40 years after the fact), and called the Clinton administration's raid of the Waco, Texas Branch Davidian compound a conspiracy to drum up support for an assault weapons ban.
