And thus begins the second term.

Just now from the White House the president has taken the oath of office to ensure that there isn't a day between the end of his term and the beginning of the next. A re-oath will be given tomorrow.

How long until we hear from the right some reason why the pledge was invalid and Obama is not really the president? Some possible excuses:

1. Obama's hand was not entirely on the bible.
2. Roberts was not looking him in the eye.
3. He spoke too fast.
4. He spoke too slow.
5. Since he is a black Kenyan Muslim, the pledge should have given in Arabic/Kenyan/Ebonics.
