Fox News audience drops to a 12-year low, MSNBC riding high

A press release by MSNBC trumpeting their recent victories in the television news world has also faux-inadvertently disclosed the public shame of Fox News as they see their fan base deteriorate from its once mighty stature.

The report details that MSNBC claimed a 20% larger market share with adults 25 - 54, while also showing that Fox News Channel is at its lowest point with viewers 25-54 in "Sales Prime" since Aug. 2001. Coincidentally after Sept. 11 to 2001 Fox News was off to the races as one of the most watched networks worldwide, and there is little question as to why.

In particular PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton receives an average of 216,000 viewers a night, and has recently seen a surge of 32%+ among it's audience in the coveted 25 - 54 age market. The growth marked a greater addition than all other cable news markets combined.

Data can however skewed. The reality is despite Fox News sitting at a 12 year low, they still reach a larger average audience of 226,000, compared to MSNBC of 202,000 and CNN at 167,000 at the most valuable time slots, 7 p.m. - 2 a.m.

TV - the one run by Glen Beck. They have gone from bad to worse.

I know this is true, because it has happened in my family
