Saw McCain badgering Hagel

I can't believe he was bullying Hagel over the Iraq war. Thanks John McCain for reminding me (and everyone else) about the Iraq war. The senseless war championed by republicans and based on lies. Did McCain think he'd win points with people by pointing out his support for a surge that killed and injured more people in a war we should never have begun?

Why would republicans want to remind people about that?

a blaaa, blaack man. In spite of that I think Hagel must have practiced like Obama did for the first debate--by sleeping--a lot. Too any fumbles. He knew the type of questions that they were going to ask. WHy didn't he memorize a line or two. NOt his best day certainly. However to your point, yeah McCain needs to admit that Irag was the worst military decision since Vietnam.

disappointing that Hagel wouldn't or couldn't answer the question. And we're the ones paying for these wars.

That if given the reigns of power would have had us fighting wars in Syria,Iran and probably N.Korea.
I was waiting for Hagal to come back with a snappy retort along the lines of hey John you want to talk about incompetence?at least i didnt get my ass shot down and end up spending the war in a prison camp.

those two were cool with each other and closer than a magnet on a refrigerator. Back then, McCain said Hagel is well-qualified for the position. All it took was Pres. Obama giving Hagel his approval in order to change this. McCain believes that his job for a living is to not be a Senator, but to oppose everything Obama is in favor of, no matter what.

were he to go out that way. He is already such a disgrace. A sore loser, too.
I shudder when I think how close he came to being our president and elevating crazy Palin to VP. YIkes!
