I would recon that more Liberals had family members in the war than conservatives, just on the basis of how many currect conservatives dodged the draft.

Give it some thought and you would realize the youth movement in the Middle East is going through it's counterculture revolution right now. As a result they are suffering from a few cults on par with the Manson Family that sucker in the young and naive while their authority figures that control law enforcement are capable of being much more oppressive on par with "Punishment Park" because they directly control the local media.

I do think that it's awesome so much is going on in the middle east, I hope everything turns out for the better, it could far too easily all be subverted and get locked down even tighter.

The current guy only got in because the movement didn't rally around a single person. It was very similar to the California recall of Gray Davis that resulted in Arnold Schwarzenegger winning. Add to that the Muslim Brotherhood called themselves "The Freedom and Justice Party". Young people overthrew a dictator to join the 21st Century, not the 12th.

In America, most people will say they are "Christian" but they NEVER go to church unless they are attending a wedding or a funeral.

More people were aware of that legislation requiring the post office to prefund. It's ridiculous and the reason they are in such financial difficulties. Most people I talk to think it's another example of how government doesn't work. People need to be educated and something needs to be done to reverse this piece of legislation. The GOP war on the public sector must be stopped. Their efforts to privatize everything, get rid of unions, etc. must be stopped!
