Tennessee dog owner sends his dog to be euthanized because he suspects the dog is gay

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/31/gay-dog-euthanized-tennessee_n_2590537.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular

A Tennessee dog owner sent his pet to be euthanized because he suspected the dog was "gay." Fortunately, the pup was later adopted.

A Jackson, Tenn., resident surrendered his "gay" dog for euthanization to the Jackson Rabies Control Animal Shelter on Jan. 29 because he saw his male pitbull/American bulldog mix "humping" another male dog, the Examiner reports.

The Huffington Post confirmed with Jackson Rabies Control, a high-kill shelter, that the dog had been surrendered because his owner believed he was "gay."

Although animals can be gay, dogs mount each other to express dominance, for play or because of nervousness/excitement, Psychology Today notes.

There should be a national register that bans idiots from ever owning a pet.

That goes on in the animal kingdom. They are all fixed. I have 2 males and one female. I guess this guy has never been around a farm.

He listens to nothing but Lee Greenwood and Hank Williams Jr., his diet consists of nothing but Coors and Cheetos and can't seem to communicate without profanity and spitting tobacco juice. I'm pretty sure it's time to put him down.

the dog attempted to hump the leg of his owner. Said owner, a Tea Party, Republican, Gun In Every Hand Advocate, shot and killed himself thinking "if my gay dog is humping my leg what does that make me?"

Hey we can dream right?

At least this poor pooch managed to get rid of his owner.

Even the article talks about it.

The ex owner is just using it as an excuse.

To him I say,"BAD EX OWNER! PHOOEY!!"
