He's been doing this long enough you would think he could pronounce a simple three letter word like "him".

I would much rather have had Joe Buck and Troy Aikman doing this game. They aren't great but they're a lot better than Simms and that idiot Jim Nantz.

I think they work for Fox.

And I don't mean to imply that they are all that terrific.

But they sure as hell beat the crappy CBS crew.

CBS and FOX both have terrible "first string" announcing crews, but Nance and Simms are particularly bad. Nance pretty much ruins March Madness for me. I feel like throwing a brick at the TV every time he tells me how many ties and lead changes have happened in a particular basketball game. If nobody fed him meaningless numbers to read to us I wonder how he'd ever fill the air time! Simms provides remarkably little insight given that he actually played QB at a pretty high level in the NFL.
