2. ah, so we can only really hear her voice and talent, when she wears a gown? who knew, lol.

this was my problem with half time show. i really wanted to hear the woman sing. i didnt know the voice. i hear a lot about her. i could not hear her voice in her half time show. there was not a lot of song, and i was not getting the talent. that was irritating. and the music didnt have a good beat and rhythm, which is what i am into.

other points people have made about her show tonight i think were valid. i do not think it was a good show. i liked the staging stuff, and that was about it. had teenage son, and hubby and we were all trying to see what was so nifty about her.

this voice is good.

And even though I thought her halftime show was pretty good...I think, because of her great voice, I would have preferred to see her just stand there and belt out some really good songs. I didn't really like what she was wearing, not because it was indecent, or whatever; but, because it wasn't very pretty. Just another black leather lingerie look. I don't know that a gown would be the answer, but I think she could have made a more imaginative wardrobe choice.

But, overall, I thought she did a good job, and she looked like she was really enjoying herself, especially when she sang with the two other girls.

hire opera stars to do half-time.

It's supposed to be a spectacle, not a woman standing in a gown singing well.

Is it the black leather outfit that has outraged and profoundly wounded erstwhile decency defenders wailing and moaning about the end of the world, again?

I have leather jackets from my days riding on the back of a motorcycle and now and then I wear them and people think I'm an S&M queen or something!

Pluleez. It's a very practical material, warm, doesn't fall apart over time, protects from road rash.

you can see her thighs! HER THIGHS!!!

And they're ostensibly connected to her private lady parts, which makes people think bad thoughts!

I expected to see this stupid kind of criticism on FR, not here.

I can't for the life of me figure out all of the pearl clutching about her appearance. Most of those complaining have probably paid to see Vegas showgirls, but yet this wonderful young woman in a similar costume is ridiculed? Whatever. I loved her performance.

It's probably not done consciously, but clearly it's at least due to subconscious hang ups.

If I had her body, I'd be naked in the grocery store.
