Chuck Todd has a segment on now about them. They eat everything or die trying.
They say they're about 150,000 of them, and a big hunt got 41.
They haven't said how many people were killed by them...

(6,907 posts)the freeze they had a couple of winters ago would stop them, but it just slowed down a little. With the warming the will end up spreading to Al and Ga etc. I could never figure out why they hunt them and capture and not just shoot them with a shot gun. If you've seen those reality shows of them hunting them they do get in the muck and are hard to get out.

I think it should be open season on these snakes.
Give a decent bounty for each one, and keep it going until their numbers are reduced enough to let the native animals make a comeback.
