Rove declares WAR on the Tea Party! Delicious

ELECTION 2014
ROVE DOUBLES DOWN IN WAR ON CONSERVATIVES
Forms big-donor coalition to take out 'tea-party' types

(NYTIMES) — COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa — The biggest donors in the Republican Party are financing a new group to recruit seasoned candidates and protect Senate incumbents from challenges by far-right conservatives and Tea Party enthusiasts who Republican leaders worry could complicate the party’s efforts to win control of the Senate.

The group, the Conservative Victory Project, is intended to counter other organizations that have helped defeat establishment Republican candidates over the last two election cycles. It is the most robust attempt yet by Republicans to impose a new sense of discipline on the party, particularly in primary races.

“There is a broad concern about having blown a significant number of races because the wrong candidates were selected,” said Steven J. Law, the president of American Crossroads, the “super PAC” creating the new project. “We don’t view ourselves as being in the incumbent protection business, but we want to pick the most conservative candidate who can win.”

" yep, we fat cats were just lolling around finding ourselves shocked, SHOCKED I tell you, at what the Republican Party
that we funded, chose as candidates in the last few years"

Gonna be real interesting to see what they come with thanks to their "new" perspective.

Seriously, who's gonna buy this shit? They haven't changed one fucking bit! They courted the tea baggers because the baggers weren't afraid to say what the repubs have wanted to say for years. And now that they've been called out on it they are trying to claim innocence. Fucking hypocrites, you assholes will never change.

It wasn't that long ago they were such sweethearts.
I just love watching the GOP self destruct.

This is one war that I "would" like to see go on, and on and on...!

Let them fight each other, let them spend billions in primary fights, and let them imploded from within! The more the fight with each other the better off it is for the rest of the country. I think we will see a whole lot of republican primary challengers coming up in 2014 and it could be very bad for republicans, at least I hope so!
