I think she's truly one of the greatest of all, and a very very very gifted live performer. Love her shows!

but I will check her out now.

Neko Case has been making wonderful music for some time now. She has an amazing voice, and I appreciate that her band mate, Jon Rauhouse, plays Eastwood guitars like their Airliner lap steel. I have been eyeing an Eastwood electric tenor guitar. She is a great singer with an equally talented group of musicians in her band.

You don't hire Neko Case to perform at the Colisseum in Rome between Gladatorial Contests.

The entertainment must be more 'of the people', AKA popular.

7. Beyonce will fade into the past as a dancing diva while songs with real messages live on.

Good singers and dancers are a dime a dozen and have a short shelf life but good songs and lyrics live forever.

That's more than most. "Dime a dozen?" Oh hell no. She's more talented than most.

I'm sitting in my cubicle now and the persons near me are going on about Beyonce. It's sad really, how easily satiated we are by mediocrity.

11. Beyonce is about the least interesting popular musical act I can name

She's at a Justin Beiber level of vapid irrelevancy.

On the other hand, we have an impressive artist like Rhianna. Much like Beyonce, except really talented, musically.

Adele is good. Pink is good. Lady Gaga is good.

A lot of pop is good.

Beyonce just happens to be about on the Jennifer Lopez level of atrocious, mechanical boring pop.

Beyonce has a stunning body. She was enjoyable in Austin Powers III. I wish no ill upon her.

But her music sucks.

I thought her performance was fine once I turned the sound off, so long as I didn't look at it too much
