A HERETIC I AM

I just went by the police/FBI set up for the hostage situation in Alabama

I'm on US 231 headed to Montgomery to deliver cars. Just drove by the spot where the cops and the FBI have their incident response vehicles, trailers etc set up

I thought it was a training exercise at first, till my trainee (who is doing the driving) said " that's got to be about that little kid"

Sure enough.

Dozens of cop cars, state troopers, unmarked units and no less than 4 large trailers with sat dishes, Not including the media, which was further down the road.

Let him go you fucking nutcase, before they kill you. They certainly are geared up for it.

Where does the NRA come into play here? Did he buy the gun he's using without a background check at a gun show? Is it an assault weapon?

The National Murder Association supports our constitutional right to whack random strangers. Their slogan is "Guns don't kill people; we do."

And in just about every single shooting murder that happens every single day in this country.

The NRA wants the victims to have guns too. So they can shoot back.

You should come out of your cave and catch up on the news.

I don't think that gives me a right to pretend that they condone hostage taking or murder.

is anti-government, and a Vietnam veteran. I wonder if he's suffering from illness due to his time in the service.

We really should provide better care for those who've served.

I read that this guy has killed a neighbor's dog by beating it to death. I'm very concerned for the kidnap victim, as this guy is obviously very unstable and violent.

I just wonder what the initial motive was in the first place.

Let's just hope it is resolved properly and bloodlessly

The boy has mild autism, and also got medicine and other food.

Neighbors are reporting that the kidnapper is paranoid menace, and a child psychologist said the kid is most likely terrified.

I hope the kid survives this safely, and gets the attention he deserves to put this behind him. So horrible, I can't imagine what would make someone do such a thing to a kid!

Probably a good possibility. If that's the case, I blame the GOP for the lack of respect they've shown President Obama, like the jerk calling out "You lie!" during the SOTU speech, all the birther crap from elected representatives who should know better, and idiots like Rush and Donald Trump.

Of course, if the media would call all of them out on this, their crazy ideas wouldn't have the traction and endurance they've had. Or, ignore them completely and not give them any press.

Extra points to President Obama for maintaining his cool through this, he has to know why it's happening, and by being the better man, he's proven he truly is superior to all his naysayers.
