it exposed the horrors even more fully. It's just unbelievable. It's so awful. There is a famine in NK going on again now and I have read news stories of fathers being convicted of killing and cooking and eating their own children. Unimaginable. Shudder.

Oh god, I didn't know that. Now I'm both tempted to see if the library has it, and also scared to read it.

(5,624 posts)2. Is it the story of Shin In-Geun? I just finished reading "Escape From Camp 14" last week.
Crazy stuff. I read everything I can get my hands on concerning North Korea. Which isn't much, but still. I don't think AMC could create a more dystopian place.
