Can we pretend to be outraged about somebody of substance?

I'm all for futile outrage and outlandish accusations and Leaving Britany Alone and what not, but Beyonce?

Really?

She's not the line in the sand. She isn't even the sand.

She is not Aretha. Not Tina. Not Whitney. Not Billie. Not Ella. Not Diana... or Dinah. She's not anything except a remarkably attractive woman who dances well and can be used to sell Pepsi.

Can't we at least find some rude tweet about Rhianna (a fantastically talented woman) or something to pretend represents the end of the world?

Both are pretty pop stars who can dance well and sell things because of the way they look.

When there's really something to be outraged about you usually have to bring some sort of argument to the table.
As far as Beyonce-didn't watch, don't care.
