There is a storm (now named) for the weekend. Please prepare if you live in the North East

You're probably reading a lot about it. The last one like this I remember was in the early 90's.

For all of our New England members and friends, good luck and take care, it may suck a bit Friday-Saturday.

My husband was going to Ohio and went through Atlanta. It turns out that heading SE and down 95 was 100 miles shorter. This was Chillicothe to n of Orlando.
It has been a nice winter but almost too warm lol

military funerals out of Fort Gordon. Once we were running late for a funeral because our van broke down on the way and the GHP was nice enough to give us a police escourt to the cemetary we hit 100 MPH on the interstate. People must have thought there was a terroist attack or something a GHP cruiser being chased down the interstate by an Army green Ford van and a Chevy Impala at 100 MPH. Gotta watch GA, they don't recognise an Ohio CCW permit there either.

Western Pocono area in NE PA. There's a slim chance that we could get 4 to 6 but indicators right now have us at a little over an inch. We'll probably get some rain but I hope we don't get ice.

There is no telling how bad things will get on Friday. Everything might be shut down and I don't want to be stuck holed in all weekend with nothing to eat or drink. Kind of scary.

Fetch in some extra grocreys. Bring in some firewood. Have matches and candles at the ready.
Bunker down and declair the weekend 'in house vacation'.
And above all.
Be Safe
