Man allegedly shoots couple to death over dog poop

http://americablog.com/2013/02/man-allegedly-shoots-couple-to-death-over-dog-poop.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Americablog+%28AMERICAblog+News%29

In all fairness, dog pee was involved too.

And actually, while I mock this, I’ve found some dog owners to be incredibly obnoxious (as a dog owner myself now, I interact with them more). These are same people who are rude drivers, rude walkers, and rude on the phone to you when you call them up for customer service. Well, then they go home, get a dog, and they’re rude with their dog too. Such as in this case, where they allegedly let the dog pee on their balcony, and the pee would run through onto the balcony (and presumably head) of the man below. That’s a bit gross.

Not that I’d pick up a gun and kill them, which is what the elderly man in this story allegedly did. But I know the frustration of having incredibly rude neighbors. I think my favorite rude neighbor was the architect who was in the apartment next to mine and would get up at 4am for work and blast her stereo to help her wake up. Even after asking her to stop, she wouldn’t. I killed her in mind more times than I can count. Such are the times when you really don’t want people to be armed.

and start shooting.

I've had some rude neighbors that pushed me to my limits.

There was the registered sex offender and his gang of thugs that wouldn't let me sleep for, oh, about 3 years because I wouldn't let him stick his stinking slimey little dick in me. I fantasized about running over him with my car and squashing his head like a pumpkin. Instead, I took the police advice and left town because, as they sadly explained, they couldn't protect me.

And the jerk across the street who started laying on his horn and bellowing and swearing at his girlfriend at the top of his lungs every morning...at 4am, as with the poster above.

When I got up on the 4th morning in a row and yelled at him to stop it -- I didn't think he could even hear me over his horn and bellowing -- he retaliated when I was at school that morning...by opening my pasture gate and attempting to chase my horses out into the busy road. Fortunately they ran to the furthest corner of their pasture, which is where I found them cowering. Which is a lucky thing for him, because if I'd come home to find them dying in agony, and potentially a dead driver and passenger or two, I would have gotten myself a gun and blown him away.

Then there are the neighbors who's bull and cows came into my pasture. I was very gracious...called them, not the police, didn't make a big deal. Then their dogs started coming over and running around. One time, one attacked me, but my little dog ran him off. Again...not a big deal. Until my dogs followed them home, and suddenly Mrs. Neighbor was in my face screaming and threatening. And then a couple weeks later tried to run them down with her car...in my own driveway, right in front of me. Good thing for her she failed, because again I don't know for sure how I would have responded to her deliberately luring my dogs and killing them.

Bottom line, assholes sometimes go too far and people reach the end of their ropes. I know I've been pushed right to my edge more than once.

It seems to me the closer you pack people into working/living spaces, the louder and more irritable people become.

They kept two dogs in a wire enclosed run, with a dog shed at one end, on the property line between our yards. The dogs barked constantly, and the neighbors didn't clean up the poop. We could not use our back yard because of the smell and at times had to keep our windows closed.

They finally moved; but, before they moved, they got rid of the dogs because they were moving to a town with a noise ordinance.
