666 Stamp on W-2 Form Prompts Contech Maintenance Worker To Quit

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- A man said that he quit his job last week in order to save his soul.

Walter Slonopas, 52, resigned as a maintenance worker at Contech Casting LLC in Clarksville after his W-2 tax form was stamped with the number 666.

The Bible calls 666 the "number of the beast," and it's often used as a symbol of the devil. Slonopas said that after getting the W-2, he could either go to work or go to hell.

"If you accept that number, you sell your soul to the devil," he said.

I don't know, if he truely believes that 666 is an evil number and it keeps coming up in his life, shouldn't that be a hint that the Universe if trying to tell him something?

And the oldest texts have the number as 616. I wish people would actually read the bible they claim to follow...

It's much better to blame it on a number that your religion says is WRONG, I tell you, WRONG. The number of the beast, and all that.

It makes my head hurt.

Hell had too many numbers, so they had to break up the old 616 area into a 616 and a 666.

Same thing with 800 numbers and 888 being commission as another toll free dialing code.
