because of this Dorner guy:
Police were taking precautions in case Dorner had left the area, however. Police headquarters building in downtown Los Angeles was ringed by officers on foot and parked patrol cars, and snipers were in place on the roof in case the wanted ex-cop who vowed warfare against police and their families made a move there. Other police stations throughout the area had heavy visible protection as well.

How many people does Bruce Willis kill in a Die Hard movie?
Once again, I said it sounds like a movie. I never said we're rooting for the guy in real life.

(89,252 posts)15. no, he probably has weapons he can fire without being close
so they are keeping a watch out with a longer view of the area.

(1,247 posts)16. Unofficially, KFI radio has said that no one thinks Dorner is at Big Bear.
Maybe LAPD has some other info. Of course, even if they didn't, they'd have to protect headquarters. This guy could be anywhere.

They need serious revision.
