Some good news--Wife has new client.

Some of you may have remember some of the issues my wife had with her client ie: making her come in during snow storms when he had live in assistance with his mother there.

Complaining how she do anything right one moment than turning around and saying she does everything just fine.

This is a guy who told my wife he thought a average work was sub-par work AND the same guy who held her raise up because even though we had issues with our old place than moving to another place (with heating issues) and my wife getting a real bad case of the flu that lasted 3 weeks AND SHE still went in all those days except 2 (We had to testify for our neighbors against the old landlord AND she was so sick running a feaver one day I put my foot down and made her call off.) He claimed she wasn't a good enough worker.

My wife went in 6 days a week non stop for 3 months. She tried to get all the cooking cleaning and errands done as well as take him to appointments in the 5 hour span he gave her. I don't know how he claim other workers got all he required done in a 5 hour period.

Wife gave her notice to the client who didn't seem phased than he didn't even bother to let her finish out the 2 week notice he found out this young girl who use to work for him wanted to come back so he threw my wife out saying I still may call you for help once in a while.

Anyways The company my wife worked with knew the situation and didn't expect the guy to be rude like that They basically put her at the top of the fill-in list (meaning they would call her first to fill a shift.)

She wasn't on the list long one of the fill ins basically requested my wife as a full time attendent.

here is the thing My wife works 8 days 10 hours than has 6 days off.

My wife loves this idea. I am just thinking 10 shifts 8 days in a row. (The last 4 days of one week and the first 4 days of another week--her company breaks the pay period in a Sun-Sat and it is a 2 week cycle.)

She trying to explain it to me that it is no different than someone working in a nursing home or in some hospitals. She will have every other weekend off and she is thrilled.

I'm happy that she will be able to get benefits.

The person is also going to try and get my wife the max pay for a person with one year time with the company can get.

My only concern is that I'll never see her and that she might be burning the candle at both ends with this set up like with the guy but she says no.
