My little sis still lives in Brooklyn.
She told me of the devastation left after the hurricane.

(71,265 posts)The snow was lite all day but now it is really coming down hard. I gave up on shoveling till tomorrow.

She told me about all the dead marine and other life that was littered along the streets.
She's such an animal/nature lover (like me).
She was devastated.
Back to your post, I remember too many days of shoveling snow while I lived there.
