If You Follow The Logic On GOP Labor Policy ---- A Business Can't Even Afford To Give You A Paycheck

if they are to stay in business. Their zeal to eliminate the minimum wage, end sick leave, end the 40 hour work week (now down to less than 30 hours or over 90 on salary, health care and any of the benefit that might cost them a penny is "theater of the absurd". Why not eliminate a PAYCHECK as well. Have workers volunteer.

I forgot we are already going that direction with unpaid internships, trial periods, tryouts etc.

Every day when you think the GOP can't say or do something stupid, absurd, bigoted or hateful, they outdo themselves every time.

I simply cannot fathom how this incredibly simple, intuitive cycle is beyond the grasp of some people, really. Everybody wins when it happens, including the owners and investors.

Not that you are EARNING it.

They seem to ignore the fact that workers of all kinds are the only reason shit gets done.

Certainly management (and I am part of that group) are not really responsible for it.
