I wanted my trillion dollar coin to have a front with Reagan signing an increase in the debt limit and a back with him signing the Immigration amnesty bill. That I would pay ten bucks for.

These rubes couldn't afford platinum anyway.
They use weasel words like "clad in 24K gold" or "electroplated" to describe a microscopically thin layer of precious metal.
I knew what electroplating was in the 7th grade and was copperplating silver quarters in class, using copper sulfate solution to demonstrate it.
Right now it's $1,712.00 an ounce (Pt).
