Thank you , Thank you...

For the beautiful red heart!!! I would like the anonymous and benevolent person who allowed me to possess such a fine expression of humanity to know this heart will be well taken care of and nurtured and fed and taken on walks and bathed on occasion and we'll go on vacation once in a while, maybe to Vegas and Hartford Conn....

Thanks you !!

self portrait of Leonardo da Vinci. It's one of the only self portraits at a younger age. It was discovered about a year and a half ago and I think it is kept at a University in Florence for refurbishing. It has not been published but when it was found, there was a picture of the curator with the painting laying down on a table at a steep angle... no strait on shot. Soooo, I refurbished it myself by measuring it and putting it back in skew, removing a large slash mark across the face and painting in certain clothing of the period to match as it was unfinished.

So, it's the best image of Leo in his 30's that we know of and I haven't seen it again since it was discovered.

Thanks for asking; it's the first time anyone has.

I didn't even know this existed. Glad I happened to click on this thread.

ETA - oops, I was referring to the self portrait of Da Vinci.
