And ohhh so true.

I can't imagine any one in his state of mind who wouldn't come to that conclusion, that he's at the end of the line and he's a dead man anyway. No matter what the state of his derangement, he knows no matter how this ends, it won't end well for him.

I really can't see him killing himself. He wants a cop to do it.

His narcissistic manifesto shows he thinks way to highly of himself for suicide.
He WANTS to go down fighting.

It could go either way.

I am leaning more towards the former after hearing his truck had a broken axle. I do still wonder if he had prepared a bolt hole and will emerge in a week or two.

the desert, a much better place to hide. I don't think so though because eventually he will have to come out.

I think he had another vehicle up there, moved all his gear to that, torched the truck and split.

Now I see it meant crazy.

I have to admit I'm glued to the news for updates wondering when this will end.

On the upside I guess he's not going hungry.

that he might be out of the area and the desert is a better place to hide by far. A breezy day can erase all tracks. And what if he did have help or has a long-term plan of action before giving it up? I suspect that since he had time to think and plan, and that he knows how the system works, he's going to be around for a spell, and some of his targets won't... as well as innocent people due to the frantic, mindless fear of the LAPD.

He's not even near to being finished and I think there will be much more to come.

I do suspect that he is far more highly skilled than the majority of those who pursue him either on the ground or in the corer office.
