Support Growing For Rogue LAPD Officer Chris Dorner...Facebook Page Proclaims "Dorner For President"

Support Growing For Former L.A. Officer Accused Of Killing Spree
February 8, 2013 11:18 PM

<...>

Dorner lost his job with the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008. His manifesto vows revenge for that; and, surprisingly, thousands of people actually support him.

It’s hard to believe but there are those out there who sympathize with the man targeting police officers.

One Facebook page is proclaiming Dorner for president. “We propose electing a man who could no longer sit idly by and watch as malicious tyrants abuse the innocent.”

The description on “We Are All Chris Dorner” chillingly says, “Yes, this is war.”

And your op states incorrectly that he is targeting police officers which makes it sound like that is his sole target. It's not. He has already murdered 2 people who are not and never were cops.

the reaction would be a lot different. Just sayin'

Mass murderers like Bush and his cohorts have supporters too. Just sayin'

Same with the LAPD that murders, beats, tortures and lies.

Just sayin' America, we might want to look at ourselves in a mirror. The problem goes a lot deeper than Dorner having a miniscule number of supporters, most of whom are just trying to get a rise out of people.

when John Dillinger and Bonnie and Clyde were cheered on because they attacked the Banks, who were, just like today, destroying everything they touched. He's attacking the Police, people who constantly attacking, and arresting innocent people, and also getting into far worst scandals. People are tired of the Police thinking they are above the law. I don't support Dorner, but this is how I see why people are supporting him.

Outlaws have been lionized and admired since the beginning of time.

Hell, even Ted Bundy had his admirers.

Dorner seems to get a larger share of the admiration because he targeted the LAPD, which I'm sorry to say has been corrupt and violent since its founding, and continues to give its officers Get-Out-Of-Jail cards when they murder people and ruin the lives of the innocent.

Of course, this doesn't excuse murder - I can't say I'm one of Dorner's admirers.

Call it sick, call it twisted, call it what you want. It worked. He got the nation's undivided attention.
