(32,086 posts)But, I have only seen a couple of those. Last week I saw a Lexus SUV with some huge rambling anti-Obama sticker. I don't remember what was on it, but do remember thinking that whoever owned that vehicle needs to be put in a psychiatric hospital.
The interesting thing for me is that I live in a very "red" part of South Carolina. Fifty percent of my county voted for Newt last week. I see more "Obama 2012" stickers than I do anything.

(32,086 posts)When their boy, George, eliminated Habeus corpus, promoted illegal wire-tapping, and instituted all sorts of other "big brother" activities, their response was always, "If you have nothing to hide, you needn't worry." Around here, they're all uptight about the NDAA, blaming it all on President Obama, while ignoring that the legislation was written by their beloved republican Congress. Talk about cognitive dissonance.

This person is obviously angry with the way our government punishes success.

(4,723 posts)were today. I drove past my gay cousin's house, in front of which is parked his live-in partner's truck. On the left of the rear bumper is a McCain-Palin sticker and on the right hand side of the bumper is a Billy Long sticker (Billy Long is the MO 7th's US Repuke Rep). This man, this GAY man, with Repuke stickers on his vehicle, is perhaps one of the stupidest, most ignorant people I know. He is also a bitter, nasty man who has all sorts of odd conspiracy theories about the Catholic church and other institutions, though I have met people far more bitter and nasty than he. The kicker is that my cousin, his long time partner, LOVES him some Obama and dislikes Republican politicians with quite the fiery disdain.
I'll also give honorable mention to the man who lives across the street from me. His car is festooned with McCain-Palin stickers and other RW crap. This particular gentleman is far nastier and bitter than my cousin's partner. He live in a duplex, and an African American man lives in the other half. The African American gent told me that it was less than a week before the Wingnut accused him of theft (THEY steal things, dontcha know).

(37,161 posts)I suppose he wasn't enthused enough about McCain/Palin to replace it, and never got the memo that they were supposed to pretend the Bush administration never existed.
