America has always love the outlaw

You'd think that we would have grown out that phase but we haven't. Dorner is smart enough to understand that, in spite of the fact that he gunned down innocents.

The cops, on the other hand, don't seem to understand that they don't deserve to get any of that love for being outlaws as well.

Killing him off won't get the cops any love… But really, I doubt if they want any.

They just want revenge.

3. Well, the police have the job of stopping him from murdering more innocent people.

Murdering innocent people is frowned on in our society.

So they are not simply out for revenge.

According to the news, he broke into a house, tied the people up and stole car. It is the job of the police to stop that kind of behavior.

Making this justs about police revenge is too simple.

6. You do realize that it's not LAPD officers that are engaged in a firefight with our "beloved outlaw"

right?

It's Riverside sheriff's dep't, San Bernadino sheriff's, Redlands PD, Colton PD, etc.

They don't want revenge. They want to catch a criminal before he hurts more innocent people.

In spite of that, I doubt that Dorner himself wants come out of this alive.

All the cops will be happy to oblige him under the right circumstances.

He is beyond rational. He'll likely be dead by morning.

The cops there would love to take him alive, but I doubt he's going to cooperate.

Only one of those two are supposed to be criminals, not both.

And if he killed those people he's just another murderer.
