They aren't regular cops. The Fish and Wildlife guys here in Maine are really nice outdoorsy guys who love nature and don't really want to get into shoot-outs.

that area is very remote, and they are often the only law enforcement nearby.. It can take half an hour for San Bernardino police to get up there..especially when there is snow.
