(665 posts)That report was on the latest press conference from the LAPD, who was quoting the San Bernardino Sheriff's office. I guess I will not believe there is a body until there is official word from San Bernardino.

(37,648 posts)they don't have roads blocked off, or hundreds of officers around the cabin to prevent him from escaping, so their behavior tends to indicate they know he's not going anywhere.
But who knows? How mysterious.

(15,689 posts)Navy. So there's bound to be extensive dental records on him easily accessed. They probably take extra dental xrays of military personnel just for the purposes of identification.

I'm sure he's there though, sure of it. As sure as knowing that every pair of size 11 shoes is going to fit me perfectly... lol.

also said it could take days or weeks to positively ID a charred body from a fire scene
