Everything doesn't have to be serious all of the time. And after all of the guns and Dorner and drones crap, I think people are enjoying the comic relief. I'm sure we'll be at each other's throats again tomorrow.

Rubio's speech was a sham of a "response" to nothing which the president said or supports.

If you don't keep enough water around, the straw men will catch fire.

There is nothing interesting to be said in connection with his preposterous argument with Clint Eastwood's chair.

Sometimes more so. Rubio was coming off as a sniveling liar. His mishap only underscored it. Made him completely untrustworthy to almost anyone paying attention (though I admit some might find it cute).
