Jan. 2015 (if... mid-terms throw the tearorists out... and Dems get a spine.... and...).

Until then, neither abolition, nor raise, is possible.

They fundamentally believe that all government operations should be corporate run except DOD. The assault on schools is the first step.

Here in WA, we're the highest in the nation at $9;15 apparently.

Funny, when I moved here in the 80's, we had the lowest in the nation at $2.70, which was actually less than the Federal minimum wage.

Higher minimum wages boost the economy, of course, as those wages are immediately spent on necessities in the local economy. Even Republicans know that. And Hey, employers, you do know that this applies to your competitors as well, right?

Minimum wages in most western countries is significantly higher and usually expressed as a monthly minimum in any case, not an hourly.
