Tim Tebow to speak at controversial Dallas church known for hate-mongering pastor

NY Jets' Tim Tebow may be splitting up with team, but he has hate date at Texas church where he will be star speaker

He's on the verge of being dumped by the Jets, but Tim Tebow is poised to be the star attraction at a Texas church headed by a hate-spewing preacher.

The wildcat quarterback is slated to speak at the 11,000-member First Baptist Dallas Church’s April 28 Sunday morning service, according to the church’s website.

While Tebow is known for wearing his religion on his sleeve and his prayerful onfield gestures have been dubbed “Tebowing,” he’s made a practice of not offending his teammates with his faith.

In the early days of *'s time in Austin, Pickles moved out of the Governor's Mansion and went back to Midland. The word was that she caught The Fool en flagrante delicto with an aide (I cannot recall the guy's name).

I think she stayed in Midland for a month or two.

But he did get a compliment Thursday from fired Jets general manager Mike Tannebaum. Speaking on the NFL Network, Tannebaum expressed confidence that Tebow will someday be a successful NFL quarterback or “die trying.”

Associating Tebow with the pastor's message is like associating Obama with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Tebow isn't responsible for the pastor's opinions or messages, and neither is/was Obama for Wright's opinions or speech.

I'm willing to give the young man a chance - Hell he just might
go there and say ""Folks, you've got the wrong approach,
hate is not a xtian virture, love is " - -

And no doubt as he flees for his life, running outside dodging a hail of
rotten eggs and tomatoes,
some bigot will hit him right in the tolerance, screaming, ""BULLSEYE! Thats how you throw a pass, ya queer-lover!!""

I do not think he will pan out as a NFL QB, do not think he has the right skill set. However, I would never criticize someone for trying to do something, however bad they may be at it.

I have never heard this man say anything bad about anyone. Ever.

Please show me the clip of Tebow saying anything negative about anyone, anytime. He seems to me to come across as one of the most positive people I have heard in the NFL, except maybe Alex Smith.

He's super religious, I get that some people do not like that ... I do not really care for it myself, but there is no reason to hope that he fails at whatever he attempts to do in his life.
