Introduce facts to a right winger, make him spit out a word salad of ST00PID

Of course, because my local newspaper dares to take liberal positions in its editorial page, the comments section gets flooded with wingnut crazies. Take this editorial for instance "Senate must stop filibuster, allow vote on Hagel". The top comment, sorted by facebook likes:

Chuck Hagel is uniquely UNQUALIFIED to serve as Secretary of Defense. That is why he is being filibustered, and deservedly so.

And Benghazi is important, and no the White House is not innocent. It sent Susan Rice out to tell a bald-faced lie to the American people, and even today we don't know whether Obama was even awake when Ambassador Stevens and three other brave Americans were dying while terrorists were invading sovereign US territory.

As for the GOP being obstructionists, Senate Republicans have done nothing of the sort, because there has been little if any legislation to filibuster. Dingy Harry Reid has brought so few bills to the floor of any substance - INCLUDING A BUDGET FOR THE FIFTH YEAR IN A ROW.

I responded:

"As for the GOP being obstructionists, Senate Republicans have done nothing of the sort, because there has been little if any legislation to filibuster. " Really?

And the CIA supplied Rice with what she was saying on the Sunday shows back in September (http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505263_162-57550337/cia-talking-points-for-susan-rice-called-benghazi-attack-spontaneously-inspired-by-protests/). And even though no one in the Obama admin seriously believes the "spontaneous protest" theory anymore, why are Republicans obsessively bringing that up?

And I don't know whether to laugh or be mad at the responding comment:

Politico, NBC, ABC, & CBS are credible news sources? You should have cited CNN as well. These sources pretty much showed their lack of journalistic integrity during the past election. NBC is buried so deep in Obama's posterior that he continually coughs up peacock feathers, which puts new thrills running up Chris Matthews legs. As for why Republicans 'obsessively ' bring up Benghazi? Because the Obama Administration lied from day one and to this day they have purposely failed to be up front and honest with the facts. The 'credible' news sources you mentioned all failed to investigate and dig into the story, but instead prefer to ask Democrat candidates and politicians about their favorite colors and if they wear boxers or briefs.

Wow, so much stupid packed in one paragraph. I only said Republicans obsessively brought up the now-obsolete spontaneous protest theory of Benghazi, but the responder asked "As for why Republicans 'obsessively ' bring up Benghazi?"
