So, I've never seen it before, but recently I got this local-county-branded Health and Medical Guide, with ads and articles about local health care providers and general related topics.
Flipping quickly through it I noticed there is a column by ultra-conservative asshole Chuck Norris. The guide notes that he has a weekly column on health and fitness called "C-Force" at creators.com. I don't care to read his take on how, "Self-esteem problems have a direct effect on health," but I'm going to guess he's ignoring the effects of the anti-LGBT rhetoric, policies, and other actions he and his RightWing cohorts support.
I am torn between dispatching the thing immediately in the circular file and saving it to later note all the advertisers so I can be sure not to patronize them in addition to writing to them and telling them I plan to do so. I'd write to the editors, but I can't find any indication of who put this thing out.
I'm inclined to just chuck it, but I think it's important to register our objections to radicals such as Norris being mainstreamed this way.

(9,760 posts)That kind of radical, ridiculous freak out ought to disqualify Norris from any mainstream publications. And if we don't make that point, nothing will change.
