(13,594 posts)trap when the pic loaded but had to scroll down to see the bait.
A couple weeks ago I was working in a hospital lobby and overheard a racist conversation. It was an elderly man and his wife that had been joined by two elderly women who came in that they happened to know. One of the women started out telling about a pic of Michelle Obama she got in an email. Evidently showing a monkey as well. She said the caught her just right so the lips looked just like the monkeys expression.
I'd be willing to bet it was actually a chimpanzee but this old hag was too ignorant to realize that. The conversation went on to cover a number of the usual hate radio topics. How it just "made so much sense" to drug test welfare recipients. How they have all these babies and get all this money and if they're on drugs "you know where that money is going." It was really a classic example of bagger types that would no doubt deny being racist.

So I think Stephen Colbert's advice to the newly not-racist Ku Klux Klan may be helpful for them.
