She and Molly Ivins were so cool and so witty. I hope when the play leaves Broadway that we get to see it on PBS or HBO or somewhere. Holland Taylor, a funny lady, I know will capture her essence.

Ann Richards' daughter Cecile is President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She inherited her Mom's good looks and good sense.

A fine actress. Most TV viewers will know her as the mother on 2 and a Half Men. But for me she will always be the wonderful law professor in Legally Blonde.

(And I've heard that there's another play in the works about Molly Ivins with Kathleen Turner as Molly.)

If I had not seen the Ann Richards play first, I would have liked the Molly Ivins play better. There were a lot of similarities -- not only in the subject matter, but in the way it was staged and even content.

The play about MI (and Kathleen Turner) were good, but didn't hold a candle to the play about AR. Both Holland Taylor and the play were just fantastic.

Rove is given far too much credit for the various catastrophic failures that beset the Democratic Party during that period.

in a brownstone on MacDougal Street. She always kept her little NYC apartment while she was acting in LA. I hope she has a long run. Broadway is her real home.

I got to see her at a woman's forum talking about the experience of doing the show as well. She really "gets" Ann, and that's why she is so great at playing her!

where we all knew Ann. It brought back the memories of our lives. There was not a dry eye in the place at the end. Great Show!
