It did nothing for me. I also tried it on CD, but that didn't work either. Although, the relaxation exercises proved to be somewhat useful for my insomnia. I also had my ears stapled for both, but nothing there either.

I did it to quit smoking, it worked for me after 3 sessions. I pretty much went cold turkey after the second session was jittery for a few days, after the third session completely kicked the habit. It will be 8 years in April and I have not had the desire to smoke since. I can not be around cigarettes at all now.

But a good friend of mine was able to quit smoking using acupuncture, so you might want to do some research on that option.

Unfortunately health issues has forced him into retirement sooner than he had planned. He is still a friend of the family.

I didn't see him for that though - I went to pot instead.

I quit smoking twenty years after that, cold turkey. The first six months were hell, today twenty years later I don't even think of smoking so there is light at the end of the tunnel. Today though there are so many other aids to help you. Back when I quit all they had was nicotine gum, which others I knew had tried, that didn't work either.

I understand E-cigarettes help. I wish they had been available back when I was trying to kick the habit.

Many years ago I went thru it for about 6 months fighting low self esteem/alcoholic dysfunsional family etc. It worked for me ...I broke the cycle.
