Whole Foods removes chicken ad featuring Obama

An Upper West Side Whole Foods has removed a sign that used a drawing of President Barack Obama to advertise a sale on chicken after complaints that the ad was offensive.

The sign outside the supermarket on Columbus Avenue and 97th Street featuring an apparent caricature of Obama advertising an upcoming sale on whole organic chicken outraged neighbor Woody Henderson.

"There are certain things that have been used to put down black people -- watermelon, fried chicken," he said.

Let's see, the owner is an ignorant climate denier who hates health insurance and now we get this racist shit from one of the stores...thank God I never shop there.

but why would they make him look pissed? Seems a stupid advertisement for such a huge company..most chain store managers don't have the freedom to hang anything without corporate approval..

Here in Colorado, there's Vitamin Cottage, there's Sunflower Market, there's various farmers' markets. Any self-respecting progressive, hell, any self-respecting American would not do business with Whole Foods.
