I don't believe that voter suppression will get the attention it deserves until this happens:

A sitting President is removed from the ballot. Actually not on it at all. I'm talking about my state of course, the state of Georgia.

The only way for something to break through is for it to get missing blonde in Aruba level - media roadblock coverage.

And so far, the media has largely ignored this story. I feel, sadly, the only way for it to get attention is for this continue close to the election, or worse, on or after election day.

This, is the conservative media at work. And let's remember everyone, the "media" is the conservative media. All of it.

1. Are you implying that Obama will not be on the GA ballot?

Do you mean the General Election ballot? Do you have any links or documentation to support this?

I understand that this is no 'balloon boy' level story, but I think we'd have heard SOMETHING about it.

You think any attention would go to voter suppression in a birther case?

You want more media attention on birther shit?

WTF is going on here?

That, most of the country still has NO clue to the bullshit that the conservatives have been doing and that sadly, it won't get much attention until something like what they're trying to do here in GA happens.

I'm not advocating for it to happen. I'm just pointing out how crazy this is.

You call for President Obama to be removed from the ballot.

You call for major media coverage of it.

You call for it to go on right up to the election.

You call for all of this in the name of voter supression.

What you don't say is that this is a birther case you are talking about... It has jack shit to do with voter supression.

IMO bullshit like this has no place on a Democratic site under any circumstances.

11. No, I'm saying that

Voter suppression needs to be covered is a serious and significant way. And by that, I mean like a missing blonde in Aruba. I mean the media stops what it's doing and covers it like Casey Anthony.

What I added is that unfortunately, that type of coverage might not happen until it's too late - if it ever gets covered at all. I noted the GA bullshit because wingnuts really are trying to do that and if it did happen, that might be - might get attention, but of course I'm not advocating it. I'm just saying how fucked up this all is.

BTW, if you do not think that removing a sitting President from a general election ballot is voter suppression than I would recommend you think about that that again before typing bullshit like your above comment which completely twisted what my post is about.

8. I like your blonde in Aruba idea. She would have to be misidentified on some gov't form as black
