Now, I don't know what their boss has spewed yet, so once I find out (I'll attempt to solve that mystery momentarily) I might have to boycott them.

The ingredients can't get much more crappy, so not much cost savings there.

I predict they will raise prices to increase profits and then blame it on health care or a higher minimum wage. I fully expect 29 hour work weeks are the new norm, full time employment is going to be cut further to get under the health care requirement.

You can buy the same $5 foot long (or 11 inches in Subway's world) in a state with the federal minimum wage as you can in a state like CA where the minimum wage is higher than the federal minimum.
