Bob Woodward was caught carrying GOP water.

My guess is that he was trying to gin up a little stink on behalf of someone deep in the bowels of the Pentagon who didn't like the idea that their program was on the line for cutting.

Just tossing this out there because everytime I hear this story on the news, I see a weasel and smell a skunk.

That fawning propaganda book he wrote about bush and cheney being strong swinging dick leaders took away any respect I had for him regarding Watergate. I think he needed republican atonement for outing Nixon so this was his payback but it backfired in his face big time. Couldn't happen to a better person. Now his reputation is in tatters and he is exposed as a lying sack of shit.
