Great meme. I was at a party recently and someone asked me: "What's the most poisonous and toxic substance known to man?" I replied: "A Republican". The guy gave me the finger and yelled "Socialist commie!" Was I wrong?

... with a totally inappropriate and mean-spirited response.

If I was at a party and someone had said, "Democrat" to the question, the look in my eyes would have been enough to let them know my disapproval, without resorting to a response that would make me look like an asshole.

But that's the difference between the parties, I guess.

I know far-right Republicans that express quite a level of vitriolic hate toward Democrats. With us Democrats, I don't think the disapproval is nearly as intense.

...never give up
never give in
never pass up a chance to bait a swine into leaving a frothing mess
always remember these degenerates for what they are...FAILURES, not fit to obey simple traffic laws, let alone having the sense to do/vote/say whats' right. I want them erased from existence. I want their memories forgotten. I want them cleansed from our planet...permanently. Intense enough for ya, Meats?!

I meant, like, family members and friends who are Republican directing vitriolic hatred toward other family members and friends who are Democrats, and downright holding grudges against them, just for that reason alone. I wasn't saying anything about Democrats not being intense toward Republican politicians and talking heads in general. In that case, I am just as intense as anyone! I'm just saying Democrats are GENERALLY more tolerant toward other people they are acquaintances with when it comes to expressing opinions, where as, a Republican will go insane if you simply MENTION anything about a Democrat, especially President Obama!

...I wasn't attacking you personally, Sir. I will grant you that on balance, what you state is reasonable, the self absorbed/afflicted/entitled puritans ARE conditioned to "go off", it's all they have left, (pun intended). I can say with certainty, however, from personal experience, that when a spineless freeper/creeper decides to lose it with The Limbaucile Hunter(s) on the scene, they are sent packing, with head(s) still firmly up ass, back to Palinville, Glenbeckistan, on a trail of snot and tears, realizing the true meaning of "shock & awe". They hate what they cannot comprehend, or understand. Frack 'em, forever...family, or no. Again, with all due respect, go ahead and mention the raygun, the dick, the shub, darth, et. al., and watch me declare temporary insanity, doing my very utmost to "maintain", whilst busting that, (freeps), ass. 11. Obama is behind trickle-down economics?

Feb 2013

That's the logical conclusion, isn't it?

In the first paragraph, Obama is essentially given credit for all-time highs in the stock market and corporate profits.

In the second, this is defined as trickle-down economics.

It's a double-edged gotcha.

I interpreted it as the overall economy is doing better under President Obama, and to illustrate that fact, point out how well corporations are doing, despite President Obama (who Bill Maher called "the worst socialist&quot being in office. The Republican is rebuked when it comes to the notion that economic growth among corporations has a direct impact on overall economic growth among middle class folks and small businesses, which is the Republican economic philosophy in a nutshell.

If pressed further, their last resort will be to claim that the markets are all somehow "rigged." But that only further undermines their main argument, which is that the free market knows best.

Which apparently is absolutely the truth, based upon those actual facts and the corporate hand-outs in the "fiscal cliff" scam as well as an absolute failure to regulate or punish banks and wall street.
