Republican law maker claims he has no idea what a transvaginal ultrasound is.

During a town hall meeting last week, Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI) claimed to be ignorant of trans-vaginal ultrasounds and their recent involvement in the debate over abortion rights.

Duffy was asked whether he supported the Woman’s Right to Know her Unborn Child Act, which would require a woman to receive a trans-vaginal ultrasound prior to terminating her pregnancy. Top Republicans in the Wisconsin legislature have said the bill was a “priority” and “long overdue.”

But Duffy said he didn’t know what a trans-vaginal ultrasound was.

"I haven’t had one,” he remarked.

His comment was greeted with laughter.

“I haven’t heard of it,” Duffy added. “And just like I told you I’m pro life, and I know that you are too, but I’m not willing to say I’ll support what you’re talking about because I haven’t seen the bill, even though we’re probably in agreement on that issue.”

The Republican lawmaker has described himself as “100 percent pro-life without exceptions.” During a debate last year, Duffy called the group NARAL Pro-Choice America “disgusting” because they supported “late term abortions and partial birth abortions.” He has supported a number of anti-abortion bills in Congress.

duffy and rachel have 6 kids so I'm pretty certain she's been transvaginally probed and could educate her idiot husband.

should really be probed by the ultrasound so they can understand what it is and how it works before they assume it's OK to force on someone else.

On exiting the building, he would get beamed up to a UFO research ship and get a demonstration of the nearest anatomical equivalent.
