it is probably not what you're posting. Could be when you're posting. An OP may fall off the front page in a matter of minutes when the traffic is at its highest. The same OP might get all kinds of attention posted the next morning.

On the other hand, user name means everything. But the good ones are already taken. You know what I mean? Take a look at the greatest page every day for a week. You'll recognize the good user names. Lol.

Actually, compared to some of the responses I have
had, getting ignored can be a blessing.

post about pit bulls or abortion or some news story about a whacky way to raise kids, or just spice up your headlines on whatever you are posting about to be provocative and a bit attention grabbing, it isn't hard to do. If a thread has a dull headline or a dull sounding subject, most people won't even click on it in the first place.

Rarely get a response. Unless, of course, I speak out in favor of any aspect of gun control. Then they swarm like flies. Maybe try that: advocate reinstating the assault weapons bans. You'll get tons of response. But you won't like it.

ON EDIT: Here's what I do when I'm starting to feel invisible here: I say something I know will irk a certain contingency. It's like pinging the board to see if you're really there.
