Also, are they going to be able to keep livestock? I think not. Cows and sheep require a lot of range. What would you feed them if you don't have enough space to grow hay? In the event of the apocalypse, I don't think the city sewer connection will work (if one exists). If it was a missile silo, there would have been no original need for plumbing at the bottom.
