(34,857 posts)Maybe with its landing gear or some other problem that could lead to a major crash. It didn't crash. The anchors at CNN maybe seemed disappointed it didn't crash.

(106,886 posts)an immanent disaster in progress, imo. Turns out the gear issue was worked out, plane landed safely. CNN quickly moved on.
What got me was the play on the coverage.

How often does straight ahead good news lead.

(6,942 posts)On the 11AM news. I emailed the Producer and told him the term BREAKING NEWS is overused and was abused in the context this had no effect on anything in Seattle.
