corporate venture that makes a profit. American politics is just that. When a politician wins they profit from the people who backed them in one way or the other. The poor don't have money to burn so they always lose. Some politicians get a pension for life even after they lose. The SCOTUS gets paid until death. Again the poor are at the mercy of the corporate rich and as a whole they don't give a good shit. CEO's and politicians live and die and most don't care about the future of human beings to be born. They just want to enjoy the hand and foot attention they receive while alive. JFK, Robert Kennedy, FDR and Lincoln were exceptions. But they are few and the few can only impact the many in a limited fashion. Cynical corporate lobbyists will do their damn-ist to undo anything that negatively impacts their gift horses and profits.

There really is no need to start an entirely new thread simply because you want to expand on a point or make a clarification.

The idea of this thread was to express that outside of the heated environment of the other thread.

For instance.. the Obama Admin is much different than the McCain-Palin would have been. And, the same applies with Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.

I'm saying the people in the Obama Admin are good People too.

Our global policy as well as our US policy against the people MUST be changed, but we have no politicians in either party that are willing or able to create that change.
