I need some serious feedback on what we do about Congress

I ask this question after seeing segment tonight on Ed Show on Whimpy Ryan wanting to cut Medicare in another budget proposal. Ed speculated that it could possibly get through Senate and Obama signing.

As with many of you, I am discusted with the Tea Freaks. They are not going to do jack shit on anything for TWO YEARS. The thought by Ed and his guests was repugs would try to ride this out till next election hoping to make Obama look bad. That means no jobs bill. Nada.

In the meantime, many of us are out of work. I am stressing bigtime over a job interview tomorrow. I am qualified. I want this job so I can move away from this tea bagger nutcase I stay with and into my own apartment. I feel for those of you without a job. Its been a year and a half for me. But as long as these scumbags don't move on a jobs bill that was passed by Senate, we are screwed.

So I am wondering out loud here about who needs to have an ass kickin to do something, and how do we do it? Move-On TV ad's? Rallies? Petitions? A rebellion(as Thomas Jefferson would say)? There has to be a way to get these assholes to listen to us and get people back to work. That is the bottom line. Then we can focus on gun violence, and other matters. There needs to be a loud outcry about Boner sitting on his ass doing nothing, and having Congress in recess.

How do we bring some change/action before the next election. Many of us can't wait that long.

who are using it to install in government candidates and legislation friendly to the furtherance of their billions. And that only.

Expect zero of benefit to anyone else from these types.

We need to vote, en masse, for democrats. And stop being so divisive about all the other wedge issues amongst ourselves. We need to get others to understand what the republicans are doing, and stop allowing them to be rewarded for messing up democratic plans to improve the economy. These are some random thoughts. I'm sorry I don't have anything more specific at this moment.

Good luck with your interview.

organizing at the grassroots level, across lines of party, race, religion, etc, for specific policies or programs -- in this case, a jobs program. it's the only thing that has ever changed elite policy and currently elite policy is austerity. recognizing unemployment as a deliberate policy of our leadership is the first step. once you understand that, things get clearer.

they can do things very quickly -- when they want to. the speed of the bankster bailout & the turnaround of the financial sector being exhibit A.

That process begins today or any day you decide on. I don't know where you live, but it begins in your own congressional district, and your neighboring districts. We have the power and the means to change our own government. If we fail to do so through inaction, that power is wasted.

Elect a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives in 2014 and increase the majority in the Senate. Start working on that immediately in your own state and district. Tomorrow may be too late.

After 3 congressional cycles, maybe 4, we, and I mean everyone in the now 7th CD in Calif. tossed out a real douchbag in Dan Lungren and elected Dr. Ami Bera. So thrilled he finally won after his second attempt at the seat.

I was just kinda hoping that a few others would be as outraged as I am that getting people back to work is going to make this a stronger nation. And perhaps expressing that outrage in public would get us somewhere. We really need to screem about this as loud as we do against Keystone XL.

As for my interview, it went ok. Will know in a week the result.

I pray we get the House back in 2014. Our lives depend on it.

You are being scammed by almost everyone in Washington DC. Corporations OWN virtually every position of power.

The good cop/bad cop routine is so blatant, that only the sycophants and stone stupid buy it any more.
