I could identify--especially with the "non-thin" part. I wasn't fat, I just wasn't skinny, LOL. I was a tween-to-teen in the late 1960's, so I remember her very very well.

she was for me as a kid. Strong women characters were just coming along.

Hope she beats the odds.

She was treated so poorly back in the '80s by the network... but fought back.

May she enjoy her days as much as is possible and as free of pain as can be achieved.
