By MAUREEN DOWD
Dick Cheney certainly gives certainty a black eye.
In a documentary soon to appear on Showtime, The World According to Dick Cheney, Americas most powerful and destructive vice president woos history by growling yet again that he was right and everyone else was wrong.
R. J. Cutler, who has done documentaries on the Clinton campaign war room and Anna Wintours Vogue war paint room, now chronicles Cheneys war boom.
If I had to do it over again, the 72-year-old says chillingly of his reign of error, Id do it over in a minute.

(5,442 posts)Denial seems to be how he's managing to keep from hanging himself. Somewhere in his shrivelled soul, there's a burden of guilt that he simply will never allow himself to feel.

(86,646 posts)he has any aptitude for feeling anything like remorse, guilt... he's a psycho-sociopath, he is incapable of anything close to feeling guilt, remorse or a sense that he has done anything wrong. No capacity for it whatsoever, never has, never will. What keeps him going now is, well, someone else's heart for starters and the hard-on he maintains at having done all the evil he has done to humanity and so far, gotten away with it with no consequence in sight. He certainly does not care what anyone thinks of him. But he's still a publicity whore.
